Parents are a child's first teacher and their most consistent advocate, yet too often parents are treated as an afterthought in decisions that shape their children's education. Parents for Great Schools PAC exists to change that.

We believe parents have a right to know what is being taught in their children's classrooms, to review instructional materials, and to raise concerns without being dismissed or sidelined. We believe school boards and administrators owe parents clear, timely communication — not jargon-filled reports or decisions made behind closed doors.

That means real public comment periods that are actually heard, curriculum transparency, accessible communication about school performance and policy changes, and responsive school boards that treat parent input as essential, not optional. It also means protecting parents' right to be informed about their own child's wellbeing at school.

Parental voice isn't about micromanaging every lesson plan — it's about partnership. Schools succeed when parents and educators work together, and that partnership only works when parents are treated as trusted stakeholders instead of outsiders.

Parents for Great Schools PAC will back candidates and policies that open the doors of our school districts to the parents who are raising the children inside them.
