Every child deserves a school that prepares them to succeed — academically, socially, and for whatever comes after graduation. Parents for Great Schools PAC believes school quality starts with high academic standards, rigorous and engaging instruction, and real accountability for outcomes in every classroom and every district we serve.

We support policies and candidates that prioritize proven, evidence-based instruction over trends that sound good but don't move the needle for kids. That means strong reading and math fundamentals in the early grades, meaningful support for students who are behind, and honest, transparent reporting of school performance so families can see how their schools are actually doing — not just how they say they're doing.

We also believe school quality includes the basics: safe buildings, qualified teachers, manageable class sizes, and school boards that treat academic outcomes as the top priority, not an afterthought. When schools lose sight of their core mission — helping every child learn — everyone loses, especially the kids who can least afford to fall behind.

Parents for Great Schools PAC will support school board candidates and policies that keep the focus where it belongs: on whether our kids are actually learning.
